Default suffolk stillwaters

Hi Ray,

I live in ipswich and there is a real lack of trout waters, there is tayberry fm nr beccles, small water big fish, larkwood at westow nr bury-st-edmunds, two 3.5acre lakes, nice water rainbows to double figures, thats ya lot for day ticket.

Syndicates; shrubland flyfishers nr claydon, theres another nr woodbridge dont know the name, thirty acre lake at trimley, suffolk flyfishers i think, think there are several other less known.

Hope this helps

Regards

Jason.

I'm a member of the Norfolk & Suffolk Flyfishing Society. There's two small lakes about 20 minutes out of Norwich on the A47. Nice fishing and nice bunch of people. I've put a link below.......

http://www.norfolkandsuffolkflyfishers.org.uk/

It's a nice little place to go fishing, obviously not as challenging as natural waters but I like to go there a couple of times a month between trips to the reservoirs.

it's also a good place to take kids as the fish are generally plentiful and plucking a few out is normally pretty straightforward. Of course you do blank every now and again...........as I did last week!!
