Default Albury(Weston)

Afternoon/evening session yesterday.Main lake hard-very little comming out and few reported takes even.
Lower lake-fish packed into one massive shoal. We had three each, egg fly and cats whisker, casting right over them and pulling through the shoal.Unless you were on the shoal-you had little chance.Bottom lake also had lots of algae suspended in the water.
Anyone planning a trip could do better to go to Vale End.

The small lake at Weston always used to be my first choice when fishing Albury, but over the last year or two I have changed to Vale End.

It does tend to get very busy though, probably because it fishes well. Can't recall ever blanking there Would like the odd larger fish now and again

Russell.

I fished there on Sunday and got there about 8.15, and already the larger lake was busy enough to pursuade me to fish the lake by the car park, and fishing isn't supposed to start until 8.30

As I said, I normally do well there but I get the feeling the larger fish are in the bigger lake??

Still, I had a few out, including a cracking little brownie
