chub1 is on a distinguished road
Default Moorhen fishery,Warnford Hampshire

Our first trip here on thursday last week.
What a cracking venue.Only minus is that it is only three acres, however the quality and size of the fish outweigh it along with the very amiable owner 'Wendy'.
I managed(after struggling for a few hours) 11 rainbows to around 5lb and lost six.Best retained(2) fish was 3-4,but had many around the 3-8 mark.My mate had six, best retained 4-11 and lost a few.Buzzers for me were the killer fly although i did lose fish on nomad and had takes on damsel and hopper. My mate had his on damsel and buzzers.
Very helpful local anglers, free tea and coffee all day, nice lodge, some snacks and tackle available as well. All in all a smashing day and a place that i shall be using again soon.
