Default Linlithgow

Fished our first club trip of the year at Linlithgow yesterday, must say that the Rainbows in Linlithgow are the best fish i`ve seen in a Scottish Fishery for a long long time. Took us a while to find the fish but there seemed to be a line of fish tight in across at the far bank, from the stone monument onwards......... I had six fish for over 23lb, best flies for me were a Jungle cock viva and a wee black nymph figure of eighted on a fast glass.....lost a few and was broken also........tried fishing the buzzers but its perhaps a bit early in the season......

If you fancy some really good fishing with cracking fish, Linlithgow is well worth a visit...... cant wait to get back there next month..........

When I was there last week I was told they were booked up till may on the weekends but during the week should not be a problem to get a boat. For weekends I was advised to phone first thing incase of any cancellations

Linlithgow is always a good bet at this time of year untill may time then it can be a wee bit hit or miss but some cracking sport can be had late evening with the sedges.
