Any reports on opening day on the Lake today? Heard from Foxy but expected to see something on here.

It fished really well all over.We did well on black cats on intermediate lines up at lochend.Hotel bay also fished well as did the heronry:

does anyone have any tips on flies/ areas or methods for the lake of mentieth this time of year im taking a trip up their this thursday any help gladly recieved cheers pete

I fished it last friday make sure you use a drogue fish hotel bay loads of fish there also fish the butts di3 and pink blob was working good small cat booby also working hope this helps

cheers much appreciated looking forward to it but looks like im gonna get wet the small cat booby was this used on the washing line method or just on its own

thanks we had a cracking day missus had her first pike on the fly i had a double hook up first drift and had fish all day always on the blob intermediate line tried a few other techniques nothing bumped into kenny miller good to see him lovely fishery we will be back and currach cottage b&b is fantastic and i would reccomend it to anyone cheers to all pete
