A couple of months ago i came on here bragging about a new fishery just opened near DUMFRIES and iv just had a PM from a friend who fished it yesterday with his brother.40 odds between them and his words not mine. These fish have got to be the harest fighting and best looking fish ive ever seen,and if it was in central scotland youd have to book it weeks in advance. give it a shot and let us all know how you get on,

my pal willie cohlquon and his good lady run this fishery, very nice people and worth a visit. I hear great things about it.

me and my pal was on it on sunday. fished great in morning then sun came out and wasnt so easy. cracking place to fish and trout are bars of silver,i had 8 and mate 4 but hooked and dropped double that. drys,damsels.had a shot in winter when it was half frozen over and 3 of us had 46.

hi all am the one who was there on tuesday, had an awesome days fishing , the water clarity is crystal a was stalking fish 20 -25 yards away and 2-3 feet down , never had the camera with me so hopeing to get bk on monday or tuesday to get some pics and post them on here ,a cant say enough about the place , the owners more or less break their backs trying to help u out anyway they can, it is £20 for 1 fish £25 for 2 cant remember about c/r prices but it normal c/r after u catch ure fish , this may sound expensive but believe me it well worth it, the fish are demons, the hardest fighting fish ave encountered,all our fish ranged from 3lb up to 5 and a half lb, all fish where caught on different methods buzzers, nymphs,hot head damsels, cdc,s emergers, there where flies hatching of the water more or less all day, any way if u in the area give it a go u will not be dissapointed cheers stuart

I dont think theres the numbers on it there really should be and thats a shame .the day i was on there was only me and my uncle,and STUPIKE and his brother were the only ones on it on his visit??? the time i was there i seen it on the daily record angling page and its sad to say if i hadnt seen it i wouldnt have fished it and not passed it on either. i know its expensive to advertise but i said to WULLIE at the time that a COMP would open the world to ALDERNEUK FISHERY,and i reckon it would take 40 pegs easy. ive never run a comp and dont run a fishery AND certainly wouldnt tell anyone how to run their buisness. after meeting 2 of the most enthusiastic people ever about their fishery its obvious theyre living the dream,id just like more people to share it Im coming down soon WULLIE if my 1 year old will allow me my last thought is this IMAGINE AN EVENING RISE ON IT,for all of you whose been theretightlines all,JIM
