Default Loch Fad Report 15/3/09

Six of us headed over the water to Loch Fad on Sunday for our annual visit. If previous years were to go by it would be cold and windy with very little action but the weather on Sunday couldn't have been any better for this time of year as was the fishing. Between us we managed to catch 60 fish varying between 1.5lbs and 8lbs and six fish weighing over 5 lbs, the seven fish i kept weighed 24.5lbs.

lines were fast glass intermediate and the killer flies were black tadpoles, humungus, cormorants and blobs

hope the rest of the season is as enjoyable as yesterday
