rubbish only 45 boats out and 2zillion fish caught, better off at HARELAW...

It's fishing reasonably well for opening weekend and I was surprised how few anglers there were. There was more bank anglers than boat but I guess that's to be expected this time of year.

Fish seem to be holding mainly from stumps down G buoy, although they are not to far out they are quite deep but were coming up in the water early afternoon. We caught on boobies early on, using DI5 lines varying retrieve from figure 8 to medium slow. And later in the day on intermediate with cat whiskers, again varying figure 8 to slow retrieve's.
