Our club fished Glensherrup today, opening day, very poorly attended by the membership but OMG what a day six rods had nigh on 200 fish yip thats right two hundred and conditions where a bit blowy to say the least. I know it was stocky bashing but our club where the only one to last past lunch time.So a big thanks to Andy and Rab for the day and I hope the rest of our outings are half as good

Various blobs and lures, for me it was the orange and tricolour blobs fished on an intermediate but the best boat was killing fish on white wsw as far as I know

only managed 49 , the first 5 where 11lb 8oz but if you have a day to spare give Andy a call and take a we dram fur Rab

a wsw a is lure we found out about at loch Insch, the tying is as far as I can make out is,
hook---10 or 12
tail---white marabou
body---green floss
hackle--- palmered white cock
head---3mm gold bead

the original has a very tight palmered hackle so as just to show a bit of the body colour

You must have had great fun pulling dead parrots past fish that were throwing themselves on the hooks.
