Was Carron due to start today? Were they allowed out?

Hi there Ben,had boats booked at the carron today,we were there for 0830am and it was already blowing a gale,,as we approached the dam the waves were coming over vertical and the water was pouring out (worst i have seen it),it was steadily getting worse ,,was advised by frazer that it was going to get even more wilder later in the morning/early afternoon,,after a good chat with a lot of the lads and a coffee it was home time as no point in hanging about for nothing.so in all a bad day,but good to catch up with a few guys again.
Try and get up for another try soon !

One of my mates had two from the bank. A rainbow and a broony.

Fair play to him for even trying it.

Looks ideal for today, I am just in and the wind has fair dropped.

I am hoping for Monday but I need my mate to drive as my car is going into the garage. He's going to Hampden tomorrow then out into the toon after it I am going to get him blitzed so he doesn't go to his work.

Only ******* is the road is shut at the Hotel and we need to go round by Denny or Lennoxtown.

How did it fish yesterday?

Any idea how long the road is closed

I think it's the 18th it's closed to. They are resurfacing it at between the bridge and the Hotel. Badly needed. I took boys up on Saturday to the Hotel and they had dug a new drainage ditch at the side as well.

The signs were away at 3 yesterday so I think they are just closing it 9 to 5.
