Fished it weekend before last. Started with deep buzzers as no fish were showing, but no joy. Switched to a leaded Montana, without success. On the advice of the owner, Richard, I tried bloodworms and damsels - which had been successful for others - but I confess my heart wasn't in it. In the end I went back to the car and set up a seven foot four-weight cane rod, fine leader tapered to 3lb bs and put up a ginger hopper. That got me a fish at dusk.
Very difficult conditions that day, with ice forming in the rod rings and the line becoming like wire. You should be OK tomorrow as the forecast is for sunshine, so don't neglect the dry flies.
