Default regal trout fishery (drumclog)

me and 2 friends visited regal yesterday just driving by must say was rather impressed by the fish getting caught ok its had a bad name in the past so just done a nosey seems a guy has took it over from glasgow and has big plans the pond outside the lodge is still empty but the large pond up the hill was very busy with a few guys catching the fish i saw getting caught were between 3 and 5lb so was impressed full tails so just to let people know its fishing well from what i saw so its worth a visit and the prices seem good 2 fish £10 plus c/r 8hrs so just to let other anglers know it looks worth a visit

Thumbs down

This fishery is well worth staying clear off at the moment,2 of their ponds are closed so you have only the one to fishseen one fish geting caught in 4 hoursnot getting stocked beware!!!

I went there last year, because I'd heard great reports about it, but when I arrived it was pouring down so we just had a look with a view to coming back another day, but the first pond we came to was just muddy. Maybe because of the rain but that put me off, I like to see clear water.

Dont waste your money fishing this fishery at the moment as there is only one pool to fish the other 2 have been drained
