Default Scaling Dam

I used to fish Scaling Dam in North Yorkshire a fair bit. I called into the lodge last year and was told that its now got some big pike in and I thought about having a go for them on the fly. I'd imagine the fish would run pretty big. Has anyone had a go for the pike?

I fished it a couple of times last year (not for Pike) and saw a pike carcass washed up on the east shore that would have easily of been 17lb+ it was a right size.

I did see one caught on the dam wall opposite the bunch of grapes pub that was around 1 lb the young lad who caught it on lob worm got the shock of his life.
