Default Redcar Tarn (Keighley Tarn)

I know this isn't to do with fly fishing but I am struggling to find information about this tarn, so please help me as best as you can

Who has the rights to fish this tarn?

I've been meaning to have a go on it, but I don't want to get prosecuted for not having permission to fish the water.

Is it free fishing

Any help would be helpful.

There is also another small water close by, does anyone know who has the rights to fish it?

Arctic,

Looks as if it is free fishing - coarse fish only - probably a bit dodgy to try casting a fly as there will probably be a fair few dog walkers, etc etc. around.

Kind regards

Thanks for the link. But I've already seen it.

Yes there are a few dog walkers.

Casting a fly might be difficult because of the wind. Should get there early morning or fish it in the evening.

The tarn is at my doorstep, only 5 minutes drive

Might ask at my local tackle shop, K.L. Tackle, see if it fishes well and how big the fish are.

Suppose to be a few terrapins or turtles in it!!!
