i drve past COYLE WATER on SUNDAY ,it was mbbed .was there a competition on?? if so were any of you lads at it and how d you get on???

yes bud it was the winter league 4 eight man teams springwater / cowans law / coyle / middlton 110 fish caught winners were cowans law i blanked dropped 4 and got broke bad angling or just bad luck was good to meet geordie carl well done big man hope you got home ok

hi humungus, i was fishing the peg just in front of you, i managed one. it was a real dirty wet and windy day. many of the boys did well for the conditions. take care.

was a pleasure to meet you billy all the best for 2009 and not too many days weather wise like sunday m8 next day is springwater m8 coyle has never been my favourite water so look forward to meeting you again all the best

Aye, managed to get home in one piece mate! Just.....Bloody Windy mind!!

Had a good day, ended up with 7 fish, and dropping 4! Just for Loch Doon Drifter: Badly Played.....

Looking forward to Springwater in a few days time

Whit is it you all mean by 'dropping' troot ? Did you actually drop them on the ground ? Or is this another silly stockie bashing phrase that really means that you never played them right and the troot got off ?

Aye, I dropped them, after lifting them out the net, and they flipped theresel's back in the water.....they're just to darn quick for me........

no m8 no burns trout fishery team dony know why was great banter even though i got slagged rotten but ill return the better for it (thanks alex and willie ill get you back mateys)
