Weather conditions not being the best this week, had fishing chances looking as foul as the windy and wet weather. But when the wind blows the fishing seems to suit and those who fished had excellent sport which made up for it.Slater Scott had a great day with 10 fish of which he had a 7lb 9 and a 5lb5 oz fish among those.Jim Boyle returned a big double figure fish and had a 6lb fish aswell, dave Simpson caught a 5lb 3oz trout,Tom Anderson had a beauty of a BLue at 3lb 9ozs,Willie Petrie had a 5lb 3oz and 2 blues in his bag,Mr harrison had 12 fish with a 5lb fish,Jim George had a 5lb 10ozs fish continuing his run of decent fish,Colin Moffat had a 4lb 12ozs, and those who had plenty of fish were Mike reid with 10,Jimmy Rhind with 19,Tom Stevenson with 19,Bob Anderson with 12, and Ron Philips with 15.Improvements continue and have been welcomed by anglers and we are now onto winter pricing due to shorter hours again this is of benefit to anglers.November 3rd,monday,there will be a meeting at the fishery at 6pm for those who wish to join in with the flytying evenings and this will discuss the plans for the coming weeks.Anyone interested can come along.Plenty of young anglers are now enjoying fishing at an affordable price for a days fishing at the fishery and in coming months we are planning some more features for anglers to enjoy their days fishing at the fishery.
