Default Dearnford information?

As I drove past Dearnford today 9th Oct, there were about 10 cars there with people fishing! Does anybody have any information about if its reopened?

I believe it opens for corporate bashes only now, so I guess there was one of those on. Shame, I used to quite like the place

Problem is that I've set myself up for a blank good n proper next time I see you! I usually fished C&R at Dearnford anyway...

Alynfisher, see website:
http://www.dearnford.com/

I can't believe they're making it pay, but presumably they are. I watched them build that lovely looking lodge, then they closed it to day tickets, the swines! Small stocked waters aren't really my first choice, but Dearnford was a decent size, hence liking it a bit more. When I do fish local smaller waters now I've since switched to Ellerdine, which is pretty good to be fair.

Dearnford was probably the best Buzzer water that I have fished, it
was a damn shame when it closed to day ticket's.

Steve.

i was a member for 6 years hell of a shock, it is still open for daytickets on a friday i have heard , you have to pay a fee of ten pounds to join the club ,there is no catch and release and you pay for the fish you keep by the pound ,i doubt it will produce like it did when karl humphries managed it it was surperp then, this is only what i have heard please dont take it as gospel ,by the way it was closed to everyone not just day tickets members as well billy p

It's a syndicate water now. Set joining fee by invitation only from the old members list. Fishing available on set days £25 C&R...you pay for anything you take. I fished it plenty when Carl and Mark were there...loved it.
