Default Bangour Today

I fished bangour today in bright sunshine with my mate Alex Wilkie. We had action all day on Di5 lines and buzzers or cormorants. Diawl bachs and tiny blobs also taking plenty. Place is full of quality fish and i reccomend it.

Ill be going back next year....superb.

The guy who runs it gets some stick for his fish handling rules but to me hes on the ball jim, its smaller than a prefer but its a cracking water and really pleasant to fish so give it a go.

Was on the Harelaw yesterday. It was a bit of an accidental session and only had very light river kit with me. Hadn't fished it for 26 years. Lovely half days fishing and the lad looking after the place couldn't have been more helpful. Good quality fish too. Apart from the first 100 yards or so it's almost exactly as I remember it. Can't believe it was so quiet!
