Default Grafham Water

Does anybody know how Grafham is fishing? I have got a boat booked for Sunday and I was just after a few methods and areas that are productive at the moment.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Al,

You'll be glad to know that Grafham is fishing fairly well.

I had an afternoon boat today and despite the bright conditions managed to net 8 and lose a few.

The fish are surprisingly high in the water and my fish came to static crunchers on the washing line/floater and then dries late on.

Best drifts (on an easterly today) were starting between 150 and 300 yards directly outside the lodge drifting right across onto the bank between Valley Creek and the Nature Reserve.

Hope this helps.

Graham

Hi Graham,

Many thanks, I am really looking forward to sunday. We are leaving Lancaster at 5am ready for a big Grafham breckie at 8am and out on the boats for 9am. I know its a long journey for a day but I'm fed up with the northern reservoirs as they are all fishing poorly!

Many thanks for the info once again.

What a good day we had,

Struggled on the nymph and boobies set ups, then changed to the dries and nailed 13 fish between us. We ended up with 8 to Dave and 9 to me, a good day was had, thanks for the info Graham; your drifts were the most productive
