Default gaileys

Fished Gaileys this weekend, first time in a few months, I have been avoiding the place until autumn as the place was almost un-fishable. There is the odd sedge about, but not a lot on top. The management have cut back the weed, and even the shallows are now fishable. I've never been much of a fisherman in unfavourable conditions, so I look forward to the temperatures coming down over the next few weeks, after many blank sessions this summer.

How did you get on? if you mean "many blank sessions" at Gailey, erm, lets just say I wouldn't describe it as prolific! Could be time to try elsewhere?
