Like anywhere at the moment when it,s good it,s very very good but when it,s bad it is a dire hole.i fished at harelaw on sunday in the fff get together and it was fantastic, beats north third ,the carron dam, and all the fisheries local to me well worth 26 miles travel.

Default North Third

Fished North Third 2 weeks ago from the boats, new car park and fishing hut...........looed as though some money hhad been spent on facilities....fishing was mixed our club had 25 fish for 18 anglers..........I had 6 on a red head damsel on a midge tip line..........fish were in good condition.......but holding tight to the shore

best area was up towards the dam wall on the left hand side.......the Mound on the bank....

North Third used to be a very popular bank venue....... there were only 3 or 4 bank guys fishing ..........not the stocking density of years gone by but still a nice scenic venue to fish...
