Default Kypeside

Was there last week and took a C&R ticket. I found the surroundings a bit off putting as I thought it looked a bit like a scrap yard. Members and management were really quite unpleasant to me so therefore i will never be back.

Funny wee place always seems to be windy when I visited.... even although it was flat calm at the end of the road.

Fished it a couple of times and caught on those occasions, I liked the hopping from one pool to the other by just turning round. I found the guys ok, I took a 4hr C&R and was told to stay as long as I wished.

Thumbs up

I find the place friendly enough fish there most weeks and catch good quality fish and can stay on water as long as i like.
Better than a lot of the other so called fisheries which lack fish..

In it's favour, the fish are top quality & respond very well to dry fly, nymphs and the odd lure too. A further plus point being, Shug will always sell you some of his duck & hen eggs from his pictured chicken runs
