Anyone fished Canada lake recently the one off the old Groes Faen - Cardiff road. Havent fished it for ages,any feedback welcome,all the best Neil

I'm going to try this with my lad tomorrow, as I'm trying to get him into fly fishing.
He's already caught a few but I'm hoping to give him more of a bug with some 'simple' waters first. He is only 9

Just to let you knwo that I went there last weekend and after finding a good spot I had 6 in 3 hrs! They boy even had 2 and missed/lost loads!

They have nice vegetation there and the insect life is great! The boy saw all sorts of damsels in the rock pools and reeds close by

They have nice floating vegetation one of which was home to nice rising brown. I managed to get him on for 2 seconds but he made a B line for the reeds and snapped me.

I like this small fishery and would recommend it
