Just wanted to let those who have not been up there lately.....that Walthamstow is fishing excellent at the moment. Plenty of action.

I was up there yesterday evening and managed to reel in about 5 fish in 3 hours. I did not see anything happening in No 4 but in No 5, the fish were very active. They were all feeding close to the surface and so caught most of mine on dry flies, cdcs and shipman's buzzer. I even managed to get one on Vinnie's Daiwl Bach variant - thanks Vinnie. Others were catching on buzzers too.

I wont be going for a couple of weeks as I'm of work on paternity leave (again!), and have left me gear at work. Dont want to go get it as it will be a hassle!!
