alex cairnie is on a distinguished road
Default Harelaw Trout Fishery

Fishing has been difficult through the day, but from 9ish onwards fish have been very obliging on big sedges , cdc,s and various hoppers. Some very big fish have been smashing casts and at least 4 big brown were lost this week alone with 16 year old chris lochrie taking an estimated a 5 pound wild brown.

buzzers in olive and black and silver invicta taking many fish.

midge tip lines are doing the best with fish lying in top 2 feet most of the time

catch of the week was Ian Scott and graham steele taking 14 to the boat in an evening session all on orange blobs and losing as many. Best fish was over 7 pounds .

Also doing well on the evening session was scottish tem member Gayle Annall and parter landing 8 nice fish to over 5Ibs with many more offers.

Evenings and early mornings are well worth the effort.
