Default Tarvie Lochs

I am staying in the area and wondered if any forum members have fished either of these waters lately? How are they fishing? I have not fished Tarvie for a number of years

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Not a great place anymore as it is not stocked a lot and the owner is not ha angler. If you go watch how much you get charged.

Cheers for that MG...do you reckon Stoneyfield Lochs may be a better bet? Or how about Loch Achilty?

Out of interest how much should a 4hr session be at Tarvie?

I am specifically looking for stocked water rather than wild browns...

Cheers

Stoneyfield can be good depending on when it was last stocked. I hear that the new owner only stocks 50 fish per loch every two and a half months. Once got charged £25 for four hours on Tarvie! They had the cheek to charge me an extra £5 for the use of a boat when you can not fish it from the bank. If I had to choose I would go to Stoneyfield.

I would say stoneyfields is your best bet and agree with migdale on what he has said, all true.Wasting your time elsewhere and your money.

What MFF did not say is that if you do not mind a drive to just south of Elgin you could try his place which is by far the best of the bunch.
