Hi Chris,

Not fished it since the start of the season (and I'm sure there are more regular visitors which will answer your question better), but the ticket machine is still there, in a little hut near the dam (think it was £14.50 when I went last).

Make sure you take plenty of coins though, as our friends at Welsh Water do love their shrapnel! They must think that all of their customers really enjoy pumping in £14.50's worth of change...just what I enjoy early in the morning when I'm trying to go fishing!

Oh...and watch out for the time-release that the machines seem to have...just when you're on you're last pound coin the machines seem to enjoy rejecting all of your cash. I had it down to 10 minutes and 3 attempts last time I went!

That said, I do enjoy Usk reservoir. Hope you have a great day!

At the start of june I saw a ticket machine in the hut near the dam.

http://www.fishing-in-kite-country.c...ng/uskres.html has £14 in 2007 as the price - take LOTS of squids.
