Default Morton

Anyone fished this water recently

On this forum a newbie was bad mouthing this water recently but when asked to elabourate nothing was forthcoming?

I fished it years ago and thought it was a nice medium sized water. My mate and I fished it the other night but were the only people on it?

Only saw one rise but in fairness it was a dour cold windy evening.

Seemed well maintained with good facilities so assume it was just an off night...any members heard any reports?

From what i've heard, it took a nosedive after change of ownership a few years ago Used to fish it regularly but not for some time due to bad feedback. Used to be a great top of the water venue.

Haveny been there for about 15 years Texxa,......I remember being ****** off at the no catch and release policy and the sheer amount of "gumbies" that used to go there, that were bad for standing in yer pocket if they saw you catching a fish.Boats would think nothing of anchoring a cast length out in front of you etc etc.....I stopped going.
Things could be different now though, but I dont know of anyone that has fished there recently......not much help, sorry.
