Humungus,

spend 15 mins prior to fishing watchin the area to the left of the beach before the jetty around the weeds. if there are fish moving there be the last boat out fish around the jetty and reed bed all the majority of boats will have gone off into the horizon so you may have this area to your self. Try a white mini lure on a midge tip there should be fish from this area across to the hotel about 100m out from the bank if the wind is right you can drift into this area.

I'll see you there Humungus. Likewise I have no idea what to expect as I haven't fished the lake for a few years, but I'm full of anticipation. If anyone wants to let me know a couple of patterns that aren't on their top secret list to tie on friday night they will be greatfully accepted as I'm hoping the morning will be about dry fly activity & I'm reckoning the rises will be to "spent flies" , of which I know nothing about.

Hopefully rosiebell

Did well 2wks ago. midge tip two diawl bachs and a cormorant on point. or try black crunchers and snatchers. Hotel bay and dog island fished well last few days. TRy jetty up too left as other fella suggested. fish are poor though no fight.

I'm just in the hoose & I'm shattered. Matchsticks to keep the eyes open on the drive up in the morning & then back to work after the fishing. I hope to **** it's worth it.
Will culdie work as I can't be arsed tying anything tonight

regards rosiebell
