I went up here the other day in the hope of fishing it.

The fly lake is totally neglected. At least 2/3 of it is full of weed and half of the platforms have traffic cones on them because they're falling apart.

The bridge to the island is now completely gone. In the time that I was there, I saw one fish rise, when there should have been lots, due to the conditions.

Have`nt fished Springwater in last few months but was there often during the winter(including Christmas day, when i was the only one on the water and Wullie went out and broke the ice so i had an area to fish in)so unless the fish have sprouted legs and walked there is plenty of fish in it.I`ve been to a few fisheries lately and hardly saw a fish all day when i was expecting to be fishing top of the water.Caught a lot of my trout recently fishing at depths of 10 to 15ft down. That`s the joys of fishing to me,the fish don`t always do what we want them to do or would like them to do.
