Default Felix Farm

Has anyone been recently?
Would just like to know how it is fishing, or how it fishes after a warm spell - thanks.

Stuart,

I've not been for a while, but it generally fishes poorly after a prolonged dry spell.

I have found in warm weather that you often have no option other than resorting to a Booby fished on a short leader with a DI5, right on the bottom. And often you need to take a boat out to get to the deeper holes where they are holding.

Cheers,

Bill.

I would suggest that it is not worth fishing from the banks when it is warm. Deep is the key ........ it's not a bad place, really helpful and pleasant ghillie. The only thing is it backs virtually onto the M4, so it an be a tad noisy.
