I fished it (Carron) on Saturday with my club. 7 fish among 10 rods. Other clubs were out and did a bit better than us (I think), but there were a lot of ones and 2s. Having said that, it was VERY bright and sometimes pretty hot. However, there were fish moving for most of the day - I just couldn't catch them. My BP had a lovely rainbow of 3lb 9oz, so that made his, and my, day.

May be wrong,

But as far as I'm aware, the Coulter is held by the Stenhousemuir angling association, there's a waiting list to get on - might be wrong.

We're looking into it.
