Default Rosslynlee 31st may

Fished Rosslynlee yesterday and despite the bright sun and soaring heat had an absolute cracking day as did a lot of the rods on the water.Dropped what looked very much like a double figure fish on first cast,a few minutes later got a nice fish that weighed in at seven and a half pounds.Got my two other fish to complete my 3 fish ticket not long after, with a weight of 14lb 12oz for my three fish.Quite a few fish were being caught and some of these were good sized fish.I saw an eight, twelve and couple of six pounders caught,as well as a nice brownie around the six to seven pound mark. Most of the fish were being caught on buzzers.I had been pulling lures early on and was getting plenty of follows and nips at the tail of fly.Switched on to buzzers myself and caught a few with mainly a black and gold buzzer as well as a couple on diawl bachs.Had a few rises to suspender buzzers but never hooked any.Fish stayed on allday and zonkers were getting a few fish in afternoon.Could`nt have asked for a better days fishing, great after fishing there on Monday in a cold NE wind that ruined the day. Nice to speak to ya yesterday ANdy, all be it for a short while, Well Done on the Win too!

I ended the morning session with just two fish, all coming to the Olive Worm on my last peg, after only just tying it on!!

After the extremely long lunch, I changed to a 15ft GT and Olive zonker, which claimed another 15 fish after lunch!!

Great place, warm waether, shame about having no clouds, as fish were feeding everywhere!

I'm heading up to Rosslynlee on Thursday evening. Really looking forward to it as its a while since I've fished it. Has anyone been up in the last couple of weeks? Hopefully this rain will freshen things up a bit.

I was back over to fish Rosslynlee on Saturday the 7th.Two of us had a great day.Me and my mate had 19 fish between the two of us with me getting fish of around 7,10 and 12lb+.We had to go deep to get fish though,no joy with buzzers or dries.Weather was`nt the greatest for it that day. There were some big brownies about the last couple of times i fished there.
