Default Carsington

Hi guys is it too early to give Casington a try over the weekend.

I know that it is very high up and may not really have warmed up as yet.

Many thanks in advance.

Sagefly, just scroll down half a page and theres a thread called Carsington that should give a feel for how its fishing, I'm on there on Monday with a mate, weather forecast is poor for Monday but I don't care unless the winds thats strong that the boats cannot get out.

The whole England Ladies team are on Carsington this weekend, including my other half.

Weather looks iffy, although I hope you and they have a productive time.

The Pirate.

You're only allowed to fish if you don't post saying how good it is Pirate - is that why its all booked up this weekend then eh? Hope it fishes well - should do.

I've only really got into the place this season, but I have a bit of a theory.. The buzzer hatches have been so good in the morning that although I have caught on buzzers and d/bs in the morning, by afternoon the fish seem to have gorged themselves and switched off buzzers, although they will still chase a lure - has anyone else noticed this? When I went in the afternoon this week, they wouldn't touch my buzzer set up, even though there was a big hatch, and I could only catch on a lure

Jeff, your spot on about the afternoon siesta, not sure what causes it but the period from 1ish to about 4 is always the quietest part of the day, thankfully the evening fishing is excellent so its worth hanging on.

Thanks for the replies.

If you are a PAAS member you can fish Carsington for nothing. Great!

From the bank, only twice per season and as long as PAAS dont go over budget.
