Default Tittesworth

Anybody know if Tittesworth is still closed for fishing?

Thanks for that, Red Diawl. Shame.

Great shame. Caught my first rainbow there.

It just seems ideal for fly fishing. Every now & then I find myself dreaming of it opening again...

That's what I heard. You would have thought there must be someone / some group that would be capable of making a go of it, though. After all it's a lot closer to major conurbations than several large fisheries I can think of.

I'd quite happily pay to fish it as a natural unstocked fishery - wonder if the rainbows are still breeding in the feeder streams [once caught a 6" rainbow on a buzzer].

I applied for the fishing rights a couple of years ago, but was told they did not want fishing as the water level gets to low. Moreover, they wanted an Outward Bound company to use the water and they have a Canoe & Kayak company on there. Pity.
