Has anyone fished here? It has Sportfish Reading onsite as well, from what I saw it is not the most picturesque of places, but was a sizeable lake.

Their web site is not available so there is no information I check on them.

From my time their its not the place where there are fish everywhere you have to find them and normally there in a few select places, take waders to get the most distance out you can because the fish can be very very far out in places because its shallow for a long way then goes deep. main lake is catch and kill only and have never tried the cnr lake but shall endeavour to do so when my exams are over as its only a ten min drive from me.

Hi,
Fished there for the first time 2 weeks ago on warm sunny Saturday. Fairly busy place and not that large, but lots of fish moving and lots being caught. I was only there for their 3 hour ticket, had 1 and lost 2, but everyone else seemed to be doing OK and the people I spoke to had nothing but good things to say about it.

Believe there are two lakes, top one is catch and release only, alot smaller than the main lake.

Would go back again, but not sure would go for a full day.

Hope this helps,
JW

The site is up, it just lists the basics, you would need to ring for the latest.

I went down there yesterday to suss out a venue for a trip this weekend, and it isn't <currently> fishing very well. They are being very fair and honest and only selling 2 fish tickets, they can be topped up to 4 if you get your first 2 OK. If the rain and cooler weather that is forecast actually happens that could all change of course.
