Default loynton

Has anyone fished Loynton recently? Fancy a trip next week end, it's quite a trip for me so I don't really want to waste my time.

Cheers
Ian

Quite why you would want to drive all the way from Lincs to fish Loynton beats me - I only live about 5 mins away and rarely fish it! In fact I know of very few locals that do, and even then just cos its down the road. Its "ok" at best in my book. Don't know how its fishing I'm afraid, probably same as always, but I'm sure there must be far better places much nearer to you?

Ian,

It fished well early on last weekend, slowing as anglers numbers increased. Fishing has improved this week with lots of buzzers hatching, plenty of hawthorn about and some early sedges PM.

Try buzzers, PTN or hares ear in top 3 feet and work down if you get nothing, rubber legs daddy also working well. If regulars are catching on the guinea give it a go otherwise fish as above. Small black hoppers, F flies or bibio also worth a try.

Tight Lines

Steve
