Five of us traveled down to eyebrook on one of thier 3 day boat tickets and what a trip it proved to be we arrived on the tues morning
to be told that we were going to get soaked for the 3 days but also that the place was fishing it,s head off so out we went in what were wet but good conditions we were into fish very quickley,drifting over the point of the island with midge tip and dawl bachs with a size 12 green pea taddie on the point both browns and bows to 4lb , over the 3 days we had just short of 200 fish for the five of us all on dawl bach,s black taddies and an amazing 3hrs on blobs on wed eve , the facilities at eyebrook are first class and the staff are the best i have evey come across esp wee jimmy top man kept us right . The trip was topped of with an invite to the pirate,s and his lovley wife,s martha,s home for a feed and a wee drink so i would also like to say thankyou very much to you two very special people.

Looks the biz colin me and 3 mates are going down a week on monday 2 days on rutland 1 day on ravensthorpe lets hope its as good as your adventure . as for eyebrook i can only applaude them ordered a reel on thursday night arrived this morning there tackle service seems to be as good as there fishery

What a week we had, doesn't get any better.
The fish we caught were the hardest fighting fish i have ever had the pleasure to catch, they just did not want to come to the boat and would not be bullied in.
I would also like to thank Stewart and Martha for the evening we spent in there company, it rounded off a fantastic trip with two of the friendliest people i have had the pleasure to meet.
We will be back next year.

Eyebrook seems to be fishing very well at the moment,as four of my mates were down just before Colins trip and had 133 fish in 2 and a half days fishing. The biggest of which was around 9-10lb. Orange blobs and a Cat variant took most of their fish.Likewise they have nothing but praise for the setup and the quality of the fish from Eyebrook.Great you had a good trip Colin! Andy
