Fished it yesterday and despite the bright sun the fishing was excellent. Had a nice brown of 2.5lbs on a green epoxy buzzer and also a rainbow of about 2lb on a grey suspender buzzer. The fish were rising everywhere to something hatching and were really switched onto them but I couldn't identify what it was (not much of an entemologist - must improve that) and didn't have a camera to post a picture here. They seemed to be taking the nymph just as it struggled through the surface. The adults were a beigeish colour and quite fluttery. Any ideas anyone from my rather vague description.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and the fish were rising everywhere then as well, rising all day too. They were taking emergers judging by the 'head and tail' rises. I had 4 rainbows on a black buzzer and my mate stopped counting at 8 on the same fly. God knows how many we missed.

Have you dumped the Bibio then Mark or is that reserved purely for wild brownies?

Dump the Bibio? No way! Definitely for the brownies though. Hardly ever works on stockies.
