Default loch leven

Does anyone knew how leven is fishing so far this year? do you also know what flies to use and where to go, as i am fishing it on sunday.

spoke to wuilie,2 weeks ago,no fish off yet and needs a good warm may to kick start it,fro m the 24th may im on it 3 days a week ,but looking forward to the early morning sessions the most,great quality fish last year,shes still the place to be,as stan headley said...if levens dead ,shes having a hellufa wake!

Iv,e not fished it for a few years now, and was glad to hear that it fished well last season such a great place.I never though it would go down hill like it did in my life time, lets hope this season can be a good one.

Yeah, it's pish, pish as a pish thing at the moment. Yesterday was grey, chilly, dour, the usual superlatives when describing Leven. But i've seen it on better days and it will come on, when we get some settled warmer weather.

2 weeks on saturday till the early mornings boys!you can keep every other water the loch still has the x factor.

Fished the Loch from April - September last year and the DI-5 was the fastest sinking line I used, and that was on one occasion only. Fast-Glass was favourite, with a floater running second.

The use of fast sinking lines on Leven is a self-fulfilling prophecy; if you use nothing else you can only catch on fast sinking lines!

I totally agree with you,im on it every season from may onwards solid , 3 times a week not including early morning shifts and enjoy all my sport on a floater or intermediate .
