Anyone fished it from the bank recently ?

I hear it's been hard but should be warming up now.

Hi Charlie,

I fished Farmoor 1 on Sunday. I can honestly say it was the best days reservoir trout fishing I've had.

Despite being rusty I managed six Rainbows to 6lb ish with only one fish being under 4lb. Fish were taken on DB's, and buzzers 6-7 feet down. Highly recommended!

I understand Farmoor 2 is fishing harder from the bank with the boats doing much better. You will find plenty of more info here if you aren't already aware of the site.

Hi Charlie, just posted you a reply in the Farmoor reports, but just to say, yep its not easy at the moment, but the fish being taken are lovely specimens, 2.5 - 5lb rainbows. Weather warming up and wind from the same direction for the last couple of days should help tomorrow's open bank match.

Will see you there as I'm fishing too.
