Default Lintrathen

I'm off to Lintrathen on Saturday - anyone fished it recently? As always, any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Thanks for this foxy but I only fish it a couple of times a year and I can't honestly remember seeing an island Does it only show when the levels drop? For the roddies, I assume you mean the bank down to the left of the jetty. I've certainly done well there before.

Cheers
John

The Island actually shows better in high water, it"s up the far end, yes the Rhoddies to the left of you from the pier,
Lintrathen must be one of the bonniest venues in Scotland

Even 50 minutes would do me, last year we drove all the way up to Lintrathen from Port Seton only to be told it was too windy to go out

You're right foxy - beautiful place although I prefered it when it was only brownies.

Had a good day on Saturday - despite fishing in the heaviest rain I've ever been out in. At times we couldn't fish because we we're too busy bailing out the boat.
Fishing wise, got a couple of nice browns, a couple of good rainbows, lost even more and missed umpteen. Got the usual couple of dozen perch including a cracker about 2 1/2 lb. Best areas were down at the corner of the dam if you could cope with the wind and up at the rhoddies if you couldn't.
Thanks again for the info
