Lockwood opens at 8am on the 3rd march. No price increase for 2012 and with increased bag limits.
As anyone who fished last year will remember we were very short of water due to maintenance work on the dam wall. This year we are full and prospects for opening day are excellent. 1000 rainbows from 1lb 8oz to double figures will be stocked just days before we open.

I have a boat booked for opening day, yippee, just need a boat seat now

Hire one of Lockwood, £1 a day I think, check with Gordon@lockwood.

I hire Boat seats at the fishery for £1 per day but they do need to be booked as I only have five. We only have two boats left for opening day so if you want one you need to be quick.

PRICES: - NO PRICE INCREASE FOR 2012. BAG LIMITS INCREASED FOR 2012.

DAY PERMIT: - £28 6 fish limit and catch & release

EVENING PERMIT: - £20 4 fish limit and catch & release

ANY 4 CONSECUTIVE HOURS: - £14 2 fish limit and catch & release

JUNIORS- under 17 years old: - £10 4 fish limit and catch & release

BOAT HIRE
Eight rowing boats are available for hire.
NOTE: Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times by boat anglers.

FULL DAY: - £13.00
FROM 8.30AM until one hour after sun set or time posted in fishing lodge.

EVENING OR ANY 4 HOURS: - £7.00
EVENING FROM 3.30PM until one hour after sun set or time posted in fishing lodge.

Lockwood will be stocked with up to 1000 Rainbow trout from 1lb 8oz to double figures just days before we open. We are once again a Trout Masters Water and will be holding a heat for the 2012 TEFF Greys National Bank Championships, the Individual & Team Heat will be held on the Saturday 14th April 2012. We will also be hosting one of the ADB Talent Pathway Events which will take place on Saturday 31st March 2012 and The EYFA will be running a Youth Experience day at Lockwood on the 8th of September details are as yet to be finalised.
