Does anyone else fish the Usk reservoir ? i have my own boat on it and very rarely see any other boats out on this stunning reservoir high up in the Brecon Beacons. PS it also fishes very well. I often have a space on the boat when my boat partner cant make it usually in the week if anyones interested its manly stocked rainbows and some small wild browns.

Just edited it wild browns (small) and rainbows. All the usual methods work up there But hoping for a good next 3 months like last year when they were really going well on orange emergers and dries.

Hi Mark, have fished Usk a few times from the bank but have found it difficult going. Only had success really near the dam after 5pm. The worm fishers however seem to do okay all day. If you do have a space on your boat it would be a pleasure to join you some time and get shown the water by someone who knows it.
