Default Blagdon & Chew Help please!

This year I plan to try my hand at the wonderful thing that is Blagdon and Chew! I do however need some advice from the experts, all you lot out there. Please could anybody give me any advice on flies, methods, do I need to rent a motor? is there good bank fishing, what is wading situation.
My experience in life is all fly, mainly river for Salmon and Trout, and Sea Trout. I have some experience of Scottish Lochs for Sea Trout from boats. Any help and advice would be very well recieved.
