Hi back on the forum scene after a few years off,was previous flyinhedge.
Thinking on fishing the tanks the weekend,any tips on flies or lures etc , ive heard small hooks are better here but not fished here early in the year. Any early reports would be great. Anyone know if blondie is still about on the bristol forums.

Barrows fished ok yesterday from what i heard.

We fished Chew which was hard going for most.

I fished with Blondie yesterday but he is only on completefisher forum so if you want to catch up with him then that is where he is.

it would be interesting to see how barrows no2 fishes early season after being stocked for the first time since the completion of the engineering work, i have not fished the barrows for a few years now but always enjoyed the far shores on numbers one and two in preference to the concrete bowl appearance of number three, must make a mental note to try the barrows this season
