Fished the dam today with b16ave (Davie), and got my ass whupped . I had 4 fish, including my first double hook up which I landed. I didnt expect 2 1lb or so broonies to break 8lb flouro mind you. Davie had 6 rainbows. Fraser had a wee dram to toast the new season and a piper to lead the anglers down. I dont think there were any blanks although there were quite a few boats did better than our 10. good day out despite the cold east wind and I'm back on tomorrow with my son so heres hoping the weather holds out. I have some pics to follow once I get them loaded up

Just a bit info for the boys out tomorrow. Floating line, 20' tapered leader and a #20 adams out in the open water.
