Default Syon Park 13/11/11

Morning at Syon.Very pleasant morning weather wise, possibly a tad TOO nice with the sun and brightness, however a stiff easterly breeze blowing along the lake.Had one early fish on white fritz from right hand bank, midway along to bridge.A few plucks and pulls as i moved towards the bridge.Moved above bridge without too much interest and switched to orange egg fly and moved back tight to bridge.Managed to miss a couple of pulls and eventually moved back below bridge.Had another fish close to bridge again on egg fly.Carried on moving down towards entrance and managed to loose a fish after a vicious take and that was just about it.Lot of anglers out with a few seemingly struggling a bit.One or two fish from the general area that i fished and some with fish from the far end.Water clarity very good, but with the stiff breeze no fish spotted.Fish seemingly NOT deep, nothing showing at surface however.

Hi Alex.Certainly not an awful lot came out(that i could see) whilst i was there.Spoke to a guy who had had a couple below the bridge, right hand bank, but they certainly were not running up the rod rings.
Mate went there this Sunday and he really struggled ,bailiff told him it was hard.Had one fish at dusk and only one other pull all afternoon.
Would fish it a tad more often, just a pig getting back through Richmond. The guy i spoke to travelled down from Herts
