hi
i,m on lithgy 22nd we fish 2 or 3 times at start of the season its usualy stocked every week so usualy where the wind has been blowing into is where the stockies arebut the usual places at start of the season are below the castle the trees to the far left of main town bay strait across from boat jetty from where houses stop down that bank.some times the fish at the eastern end off the loch and can sometimes be found right in the shallow water at this end off the loch tight lines i hope this helps if its not to windy try intermediate with cats, black cats blobs green pea taddy if the weather is really kind ph/tail,s on a floater if its colder or windy try di3 with the same lures

Hi all,,me and the wife are just back from linlithgow loch and the sport was great.

I caught 8 (2 ret) all around the 2.5lb / 3lb mark and fully finned !!!
The wife had 2 around the 4lb mark and again they were fully finned, and we lost another couple awell.

All caught on mini lures,,just around the town bay area.

It was a good day,,wind was ok for most of the day and it started to get really cold about 14.30,,so we decided enough is enough.

Good day had !!!

Cheers
