Default Allandale tarn

Travelled through to fish for the Howwood fishery against Allandales team yesterday.Weather made it hard going at times, heavy rain and a strong blustery wind.Bit of a mixed day with some doing well while others struggled. Allandale were winners on the day with 35 fish to Howwoods 32 but only just winning by 3oz.Top rod was Howwoods Robert Lamb with 9 fish for 20lbs(you should`ve had a sweep going Robert),Allandales top rod had 8(i think).Had 8 myself for 18lb 6oz,mostly on small black fritz.as Allandale also won first leg at Howwood they won overall.Well done to them and also to the two young junior anglers Brian and Ryan fishing for Howwood that fished to the end yesterday, great to see them stick at it!! ta for the invite robert!!

Came across this just now!
The juniors put some of us to shame! Lol!..
Ah, the trophy is within our grasp here at the Tarn yet again as we won the home match of the Summer league on Saturday night just past. But be prepared Howwood, as we know we can't afford to be complacent as we've had a strong lead before and both won & lost by the skin of our teeth!...And as the next match is an away, Howwood surely have the home advantage this time, so it's all to fish for!..
